Morocco Beach Journey - 10 Days - 09 Nights - From Marrakech

Day 1: Arrival to Marrakech – Transfer to the hotel

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet our local English speaking driver who will provide a brief review of your beach tour. A Welcome Reception and Dinner celebrates your arrival in Marrakech. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, you will discover the city of Marrakech with a knowledgeable tour guide. Your tour usually starts at the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque to the gorgeous Bahia Palace. This 19th century palace is elaborate in its decoration and was built over a period of seven years. One of most visited sites in Morocco is the Koranic School Medersa Ben Youssef is a Theological college founded in the 14th century. After lunch, you will visit the colorful Souks where you will have the chance to see the local food as well as the local artisans. We will include also The Djemaa el-Fna, the enormous square and atmospheric wonderland of torch-lit food stalls, snake charmers, storytellers and acrobats. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Marrakech - Essaouira

After breakfast at the hotel depart towards Essaouira, one of the most picturesque coastal towns in Morocco. You will dive into its history and see how as an original Phoenician trading post. Explore the fortifications that ring the city were built by the Portuguese and is inherent to the charm of Essaouira. You will have time to see the other attractions including the port, where a daily supply of fresh fish can be found, and the tremendous beach that stretches away to the south. The easy-going nature of the town, the medina, the dramatic fortifications and the beach, have created a bohemian atmosphere quite different from the rest of the country. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to your hotel in Essaouira for the overnight with dinner in a luxury Riad or Hotel.

Day 4: Essaouira at leisure

Today is at leisure to relax and enjoy the sandy beaches and activities available at the coastal city of Essaouira. Your driver will give you some recommendations of places where to eat and book your activities. The beach cafés are perfect for lunch. The city offers a wide variety of leisure and sports activities: quad biking, horse-riding, surfing, kite-surfing & camel trekking. Overnight with dinner at your luxury hotel.

Day 5: Essaouira - Agadir

After breakfast at the Riad, you will continue your beaches tour south with many stops to enjoy the scenery and the Atlantic coast. Optional stop for lunch at the famous surfing village of Taghazout. After relaxing and enjoying a local cup of tea on the sunshine overlooking the sea, you will head to the city of Agadir where you will stay the night in a beautiful hotel set on the beach.

Day 6: Agadir at leisure

Today is a relaxing day by the Atlantic Ocean. You will travel onwards to a surf resort near to the small fishing village of Taghazout. Over recent years, the town has gained a reputation as a prime surfing location for locals and tourists alike – the waters stay warm throughout the year and the surf is excellent for starters and adept wave riders alike. On late afternoon, you will be back to the city of Agadir. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Agadir - Mirleft

Today you will drive to the famous beach of Mirleft. You will first cross the silver town of Tiznit and the small beach view village of Aglou. We stop to enjoy the breeze of the sea before we reach the beach of Legzira with its stunning ochre rock formations. After an optional lunch, we continue the tour towards the beach of Mirleft where you will spend the night with dinner in a nice guest house overlooking the Ocean.

Day 8: Mirleft - Tafraout - Taroudant

Today you will drive from Mirlet towards the ancient walled city of Taroudant. A very friendly town overlooked by the high Atlas Mountains and the 16th century capital of Saadian Empire. You will have a stop In the Berber village and secluded oasis of Tafraoute nestled in a valley among the Anti-Atlas Mountains in the south of Morocco. Overnight and dinner.

Day 9: Taroudant - Imlil

After breakfast, a quick visit to Taroudant's small traditional souk and a short climb to the fortified ramparts, that reveals the true beauty of the surrounding countryside. After that, we will continue through the Atlas Mountains Tizi N’Test pass, one of the most spectacular routes in Morocco, winding its way up and then down the beautiful valleys and past isolated villages of the High Atlas Mountains with its breathtaking views. Optional stop at Tin Mal Mosque which shows of the culture and history that is ripe throughout Morocco and especially the High Atlas Mountains. Arrival to Imlil village. Overnight with dinner in a nice Kasbah hotel.

Day 10: Imlil - Back to Marrakech airport

Depending on your flight schedules, we’ll transfer you to Marrakech airport with plenty of memories and help you with registration formalities and special flight requirements before your departure.
