Marrakech Culinary Tour - 08 Days - 07 Nights - From Marrakech

Day 1: Arrive to Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet our local English speaking driver who will provide a brief review of your luxury Culinary tour. A Welcome Reception and Dinner celebrates your arrival in Marrakech. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, you will discover the city of Marrakech with a knowledgeable tour guide. Your tour usually starts at the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque to the gorgeous Bahia Palace. This 19th century palace is elaborate in its decoration and was built over a period of seven years. One of most visited sites in Morocco is the Koranic School Medersa Ben Youssef is a Theological college founded in the 14th century. After lunch, you will visit the colorful Souks where you will have the chance to see the local food as well as the locl artisans. We will include also The Djemaa el-Fna, the enormous square and atmospheric wonderland of torch-lit food stalls, snake charmers, storytellers and acrobats. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Cook a Moroccan Tajine

Today you will start the cooking experience. You will learn how to make a local Moroccan Tajine. You meet your tour guide and you will Shop for ingredients, learn about the uses of herbs and spices, and cook a typical Moroccan Tajine with an expert chef. You will enjoy a delicious lunch cook by you. The afternoon at leisure to relax at the hotel. Overnight with breakfast at the hotel.

Day 4: Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains

Today you will escape from the bustling city to discover the Berber way of life in the High Atlas Mountains only over one hour and half drive from Marrakech. Drive across some of the verdant valleys to the Berber village of Imlil dominated by Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Upon arrival, you will meet your local tour guide. Sit for a cup of tea in a Berber family house and start to cook with Local Berbers to give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture by sharing moments of pleasure with the Berber people which are deeply rooted in the traditions and the everyday life of Moroccans Berber life.

Day 5: Cook the local Couscous

Today you will cook differently and prepare another local dish which is Couscous. You will meet your tour guide and shop the main ingredients to make Couscous. When you are back, you will meet your chef for an introduction about the different use of Spices and preparation of your second dish. You will enjoy your cooked couscous for lunch. The afternoon at leisure to relax at the hotel. Overnight with breakfast at the hotel.

Day 6: Marrakech Botanical Gardens & the Palm groves

Take today at ease to relax and drive to the new city where you will explore The Majorelle Garden a small peaceful heaven, located in the heart of the city of Marrakesh. This botanical garden is a living masterpiece composed of exotic plants and rare species, which Jacques Majorelle, a botanical lover, brings back from his travels around the world: cactus, yuccas, water lilies, water lilies, jasmines, bougainvillea, palm trees, coconut trees, banana trees, bamboo. Afterwards, you will drive through the palm groves part of Marrakech as a golf resort. back to the hotel for the overnight with breakfast.

Day 7: Cook a Moroccan Pastilla.

Start today with a new cooking class experience. You will cook the Moroccan Pastilla. You will shop as the other days the main ingredients needed to prepare this tasty dish. You will enjoy what you cooked (Pastilla) for lunch followed by Moroccan mint tea and local pastries. The afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Marrakech - Back to the airport.

Depending on your flight schedules, we’ll transfer you to Marrakech airport with plenty of memories and help you with registration formalities and special flight requirements before your departure.
